The Hotel Marad
is situated right at the National Park between the Vesuvius and the Golf of
Naples. You can reach the city centre in 10 minutes. The town of Torre del Greco is only
500m away. The city is famous for its coral jewellery which is also exhibited
in a local museum. The coast and the neighbouring town of Ercolano
with its archaeological excavations of Herculaneum
are also very close to the hotel.
Our hotel
provides 74 single and double rooms. The rooms feature air conditioning,
mini-bar, satellite TV and internet access. The setting is modern and stylish
and makes the guests feel at home. The guests are able to renew their mind in
the comfortable and tasty ambiance.
Seminars,
trainings and events can be held in our new business centre. We offer 3 rooms
for a maximum of 110 people. The newest conference technology is provided as
well, of course. We would also like to cater your event, serving breakfast,
coffee and baked goods as well as a small lunch.
Further
amenities of the hotel are the pool, which invites you to relax, and our
wonderful garden with its ample and exuberant greens where private parties can
be celebrated or you can just enjoy a drink. |

Dinner was standard local fare but tasty and the staff were eager to please (though a bit sniffy when we left after 1 rather than 3 nights)
Very tired looking hotel and steep for what you get - a business hotel to stay in if you have to (like the Serie B football squad that saved if from being totally dead when we stayed - they were v charming but it made breakfast a scrum). If you are a tourist visiting vesuvius/pompei/ercolano they really aren't so far from Naples proper or the coast, stay somewhere there and have a choice of where to eat in the evening - and get a transfer or a train to the sites.
