Hotel in Torquay: The 4 Star- AA Rosette Grand Hotel occupies pride of place on the Torbay seafront- commanding majestic views over the bay and out to sea. Since being purchased by the Richardson Group in 2001- it has undergone a sympathetic restoration that has exposed its magnificent Victorian and Art Deco architectural characteristics. The result is a perfect blend of modernity mixed with the opulence and grandeur of bygone days- when hotels were the places for society to be seen.
The hotel has 131 bedrooms- 7 of which are Premier suites. The majority of rooms embrace the wonderful sea view and Torbay coastline. All are decorated to a high standard and include all of the facilities and extras you would expect in a 4 Star hotel.
In addition to all the comforts and leisure facilities you would expect in a hotel- The Grand has one of the most advanced conference facilities in the south west- accommodating from 4 to 250 delegates and is also a sought after wedding venue. For the more active- there is the Grand Leisure Suite with its 15m swimming pool- Jacuzzi- sauna and sun bed as well as a multi-gym.

The Ansteys Lea Hotel is a gracious Victorian building, built in 1870, and deriving its name from the enchanting Ansteys Cove, once a smuggler's haven and now a local beauty spot, just a short wooded walk away from the hotel.
