Business hours of reception: from 08:00 a.m. to midnight The Ansteys Lea Hotel is a gracious Victorian building, built in 1870, and deriving its name from the enchanting Ansteys Cove, once a smuggler's haven and now a local beauty spot, just a short wooded walk away from the hotel. It is situated between Torquay's Town Centre and Marina and Babbacombe Downs with its magnificent sea views. All our pleasant and comfortable bedrooms have en-suite facilities. They are centrally heated and have televisions and tea and coffee making facilities. Many rooms have a superb view across the leafy Ilsham Valley to the sea. Because we understand the difference good food makes to the enjoyment of your holiday, we prepare all our menus daily, using fresh local produce. To compliment your meal, we have an interesting and varied wine list to suit all tastes. The delightful surroundings of our beautiful Blue Dining Room can only add to the enjoyment of dining at our hotel. Inside, you can enjoy the comfort of our splendid lounge or unwind over a drink in our delightful gardens or laze around on the sheltered sun terraces which surround our heated outdoor swimming pool. |
