Only 2 minutes from Toledo's centre and in one of the most outstanding areas of the city, there it is, Hotel Silken Cigarral El Bosque, a place where five-star luxury mixes with the Castilian tradition and architecture. Its excellent location allows you to enjoy the wonderful panoramic view of a city that has been declared World Heritage, and the quietness of the environment while taking a walk through the beautiful gardens, passing fountains and sculptures.
We offer large and quiet rooms of approximately 28 m² each, with spectacular views of the city and the beautiful gardens of the hotel. The decoration mixes luxury, design and modernity with the most traditional aspects of the Castilian architecture, high-quality fabrics and a functional bathroom, modern and full of details for your well-being.
In our El Olivo restaurant you will have an unforgettable experience with the best atmosphere for any lunch or dinner, tasting the wonderful dishes created by our chef Ricardo Martell, who combines traditional Castilian food with Nouvelle Cousine.
We also have a large outdoor terrace with swimming pool and a spectacular view of this old city. Here you can enjoy the best chillout music and our delicious cocktails.

hot water was only lukewarm, bathtub plug did not work

Breakfast was excellent, room had a superior view, only complaint was that the staff does speak almost no English and that the room chairs had weared fabrics. Other than that, it was excellent!
The noise proble the hotel has is the corridors have stone floors that makes noise when a wheel-bag is rolled along with it. The room doors have no soundinsulation foam around the frame (would be a 2 eur fix) and the corridors sealings do not have any acoustic insulation. (as an architect I even draw a few sketches for free how to repair those;-)
