| Hotel in Heidelberg: In 1875 the licensed house Zum Deutschen Kaiser was opened in the countrified property of the Muehltalstrasse No 41 in Heidelberg-Handschuhsheim. This happened at that time in honor of the birthday of imperator Wilhelm I. After a couple of changes of ownership and turbulent times we have taken over the Deutscher Kaiser after a complete restoration in the summer 2007. Today the 3 Star Deutscher Kaiser offers 17 comfortable equipped studios and hotel rooms as well as an elegant cafe bar. Each of the rooms has its own individual charm with pleasant coloring. In the summer of 2003 our restaurant was redesigned in order to reflect the straightforward elegance with which we envision our idea of hospitality. Our cuisine is fresh and seasonal with an Italian touch and at the same time not neglecting regional specialties. A small but hand-picked selection of German and Italian wines as well as the fresh draft beers from the breweries Becks and Andechser will add a special moment to your visit.
