The Residence La Giara is located at the Castellamare bay, in the old fisher village of Terrasini, only 100 m away from the beach and 300 m from the centre. From Palermo (30 km) and the Falcone Borsellino airport (8 km) you can easily reach the establishment thanks to the motorway A29 (exit Terrasini) and the railway station in Cinisi which is 3 km away. This setting amidst cities rich in history and culture enables you to make trips to the beautiful Palermo, to ancient Greek places such as Agrigento, the fantastic nature reserve Lo Zingaro or the enchanting Ustica Island.

We provide 34 apartments on 4 floors and a sun terrace. The 2-room apartments are completely furnished and comprise a living room with bed couch, kitchenette and dinette, bedroom with double bed and bathroom with shower. Further amenities include air-condition, heating, TV, telephone and balcony.

There is a public telephone and fax service available in the reception hall. We will be glad to assist you with the organisation of your trips and to provide shuttle service to the airport.

Due to collaboration with a sports centre, the hotel offers you the opportunity to participate in diving courses 'padi openwater diver' for beginners and for advanced guests. At the end of the courses you will receive a diving certificate. Diving equipment is available in the sports centre. We also offer windsurf and sailing courses.

The hotel has its private car park and a restaurant.

Transport to and from the airport can be arranged for a fee.

The restaurant is closed from 21st January 2009!
