The swimming pool is beautifully located on a slight height above the hotel and is well kept. The grounds are gererally very well kept, as are the hotel rooms.
I did not find the staff to be particularly friendly or welcoming. There is no attempt to help people with their luggage from the car park area, or to the bedrooms, which I feel should be looked at for a 4* hotel. This seems to be a feature of hotels in Italy, however. We had no contact with the management during our stay, which admittedly was short. Some of the waiting staff in the hotel seemed to be inexperienced and had limited English. It probably is not fair to blame them for this, however, but the hotel seems to cater for a lot of Americans, and I feel that they should have basic English.
