Algila Ortigia Charme Hotel is located on the enchanting island of Ortigia, the historical centre of Syracuse in the very heart of the Mediterranean. It enjoys a magnificent view of the glorious Ortigia sea. Our purpose is to help our visitors discover the values of the past while basking in the comforts of the present.

All 30 rooms are furnished differently with antique furniture, 4-poster beds and refined interior decoration, which all add to its distinctive Sicilian touch as well as  Mediterranean features such as colourful bathrooms tiles. The charm of the past which can be found in the restored furnishings and fittings does not disregard the need for today’s comforts.

Our charming adjoining restaurant offers only the highest quality cuisine. A great care is taken in the preparation and presentation of dishes, representing the best of the Mediterranean tradition.

As extra activities, we recommend you to have a walk through the ancient Syracuse. There, you will find the sea, the big natural port, which is extremely beautiful in the sun set, the market and the various monuments.
