The personally-run Altstadt Hotel zur Post Stralsund was built in 1995 and is located in the historic old town of Stralsund, right by the new market and the German Sea Museum.

The hotel provides cosy and functionally appointed rooms and apartments. The central location and the comfortable furniture are complemented by a professional service. The hotel also offers vacation apartments in the centre of the Old Town and on the island of Rügen.

Explore Stralsund with its almost 500 listed buildings. Monumental brick-lined churches, splendid gable houses, the town wall, many gates and numerous storehouses telling stories from the past invite you to experience history at its best. The hotel is the ideal accommodation for a relaxing short break in the Old Town of Stralsund, from where you can comfortably reach the nearby islands in the Baltic Sea.
