Business hours of reception: from 06:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. Hotel City Weissenstein was completely renewed in 2007. The reception, lobby and breakfast room now appear bright and fashionably styled. A wireless internet hotspot is available in the entire hotel and is free of charge. Wired internet is available in the hotel rooms and is free of charge.
The rooms are modern and fashionably arranged. They are bright with TV and radio, direct dial phone, safe deposit box, new high quality cushion beds, water kettle with free coffee- and teabags, and main power switch to cut off the electric circuits for a healthy sleep. Our spotlessly clean bathrooms leave nothing open to be desired. They feature crystal glass shower, hairdryer, make-up mirror and velvety soft towelings.

impossible to stay in after 9am, that's when the cleaners make the rooms, floor by floor, regarldess whether you are staying several days or leaving the same morning (check-out time is 11am in any case, so they should really wait until then), and if you are still getting ready and ask them to come back, they may well forget (it happened to us).
The lovely reception staff made a note that we would like the cleaners to come in after 11am only, but we did not renew this request every day, and on one occasion the cleaners came in our room whle we were still in bed after a late dinner!!
I have never seen a hotel where the customer must adaprt their sleeping pattern to the cleaners' working shift.
Centrally located. Good for St. Gallen to have parking space available. 10 Euro is o.k., free parking for hotel guests would be better. Staff handles the little problem that cars have to be parked in two rows behind eachother in a professional way.
