The Hotel
Le Neptune is situated in the small, tranquil resort of St Pierre la Mer, which
has its own little harbour and lies around 10 km south west of Narbonne. The
mountainous plateau of La Clape, with its imposing granite rocks reaching up to
200 m in height, protects this widely unknown strip of coastline perfectly from
cold winds.
The
colourful and cosy rooms come with en-suite facilities, TV, telephone, fridge
and a balcony with side sea views. The apartments have their own kitchens,
giving you the option of self-catering.
This strip
of land enjoys an extremely mild climate which is reminiscent of Tuscany. Scores of
castles, producing truly excellent wines, offer wine-tastings. The hotel lies
on the quiet beachfront promenade, right by the long, smooth, 100 m-wide sandy
beach.
