| The Hotel Minerva Sorrento is a charming hotel located on the cliff face above the original Sorrento Fishing Port with a commanding view of the entire Bay of Naples and the historic town of Sorrento. This splendid historical hotel offers all the modern conveniences and comforts expected by the experienced traveller. The hotel has 60 rooms all with direct phone with Internet access, in-room safe, private en-suite bathroom, colour Satellite TV and air-conditioning and heating. The hotels Restaurant has both inside seating and outside terrace seating over looking the fishing port. The restaurant is decorated with soft pastel colours and decorated with locally made ceramics. The hotels bar offers a quite spot to take a refreshing drink after a day out in Sorrento and the surrounding Amalfi region as well as a quiet place to take a night cap before retiring to bed. The hotel is entered at street level, the entrance hall is decorated in soft pastel colours and has an Andalucan style of decor. A lift takes you up 5 floors and on to the sun terrace with the reception is located. Here there is a Jacuzzi pool large sun terrace and inside seating providing a welcome shade from the warm Amalfi sun. On the roof is located a swimming pool with sun longers and snack bar serving lunch from 12pm mid-day to 2pm. The hotel offers off-street garage car parking with a small daily fee for up to 20 cars. The Sorrento town centre is just a few minutes walk away. The Hotel Minerva offers an ideal location for soaking up the sun, enjoying some of Sorrentos finest views and being conveninetly located next to the main town attractions. |
