Our small, family-run bed and breakfast hotel Zum Weinkrug is located in the historic centre of the Lower Franconian municipality Sommerhausen. It is directly on the Right Bank of the Main River and presents many cultural offers like viticulture and the Torturmtheater, Sommerhaus Theatre and numerous galleries to name a few.
We offer 15 comfortable rooms which are provided with shower, toilet, hair dryer, TV and telephone. Most of them also have free DSL internet access which is safer and faster than WLAN. You only need to plug in the network cable (available in rooms with DSL access) for your laptop and you are online!
Our guests may stock up on energy with the copious breakfast buffet which we serve every morning. We offer excellent ecological products like unpacked and packed whole-grain bread, not less than 7 sorts of tea (including black tea, green tea, Rooibos, peppermint, fruit tea, herb tea, Darjeeling), margarine, butter, fresh milk, fruit yogurt, natural yogurt, jam, nut nougat cream, cereals, cornflakes, flax seed, cream cheese and soft cheese as well as 1 sort of sliced cheese.
We shall be pleased to arrange for theatre tickets, wine tastings, taxi or to suggest hiking and cycle tours. We also may lend maps and charts free of charge.

Welcome to our Franconian inn „Gasthof Lutz“ in Giebelstadt. Giebelstadt is about 15 km away from Würzburg and thanks to the excellent transport connection to the B19, it is very easy to reach. The sights in the surrounding cities Bad Mergentheim, Rothenburg and Tauberbischofsheim can easily be reached by car. Our town is known for its “Florian Geyer Festival” which takes place every year.
Our inn, with its own butcher, has 33 rooms, 4 bowling alleys as well as a lounge, suitable for celebrations, conferences and similar events. For smaller groups there are our cosy adjoining rooms at your disposal.
You have the choice between several room types. We shall be glad to arrange for a reservation in our new guest house which was built in 2003 and which has modern spacious rooms.
