Stars/Recommendation
Its a budget category hotel so its amazingly cheap given that its clean, everything is brand new (Opened in Jan 2008) and very close to Heathrow Terminal 5. Showers toilets and TV's all worked well. Bed was a comfy double and rooms were not cramped and very clean. Breakfast was comprehensive for 7 pds.
Parking is not free (5pds sterling) and it can be so full that there are no spaces left when you return in an evening. Its a little noisy given its close to the M25 and the main flightpaths but its not a major issue as its an airport hotel so I guess its expected. Its a little confusing to get to first time as its in the middle of an industrial & cargo estate so its not clearly signposted even though you can see the hotel from the M25. Watch out for the HGV's as you turn into the hotel and be prepared to give way as they wont!!!
The hotel is a little spartan in the reception area (compared to say Premier Inn's) and the bar closes a little earlier than I would have liked (11pm) given there is not much else to do within walking distance.
