This famous little town, surrounded by a large castle with its characteristic old town is located at the southern part of the Lake Garda. The three-star Hotel La Paül is only a few steps away from the castle and can easily be reached from the motorway. The rooms are established in a modern and elegant manner and all come with satellite TV, safe, telephone, air-conditioning, shower or bathtub and hair dryer. Almost all rooms offer a balcony with table and chairs. Furthermore, the hotel provides a swimming-pool, a large garden on the lake with free sun beds and a kiosk-bar in summer. The restaurant is located in the green garden and offers a magnificent view of the lake. It offers Italian kitchen with fresh fish and meat. We are specialized in gluten-free food. |

A Romanian girl was friendly
We arrived on a wet windy day and were made to feel very unwelcome. The receptionist was condenscending and unhelpful. The staff in the restaurant at night, particularly a woman were rude and only interested in chatting amongst themselves. We asked the unpleasant receptionist where we could go and what we could see and she replied "everything is shut". There are no maps of the area in the hotel either. We were made to fel very unwelcome and we spent the whole time in our room reading, occasionally venturing our to plead with the receptionist to let us have some milk for our tea which she gave us grudgingly telling us that there was not a bigger pot for us to use, the one she gave us held a mouthful.
