Since September 1991, the “Villa Königsgarten” has presented itself as an elegant hotel, unique in its category, which is situated right in the middle of the Southern Palatine on the German Wine Route. The mansion house dates back to the turn of the century and has been renovated and individually arranged with lots of love to the detail. In the private street, you will find sufficient parking spaces. Each room is of course equipped with Sat-TV and en-suite facilities. Rooms were comfortable as described however it was more B&B than hotel with no catering apart from breakfast.
Unfortunately the afternoon of our arrival coincided with the closure of the bar facilty due to holidays, of which we were not aware nor did we expect in the first week of July! It was the hottest day of the year and afte a day of travelling and a drink to hand would have been welcome! The TV satellite did not work and since no staff were on duty (from the time we arrived til the morning) there was no assistance in this matter.
