Hotel Rosenthal Casino lies in the town of Selb in the Fichtelgebirge (a mountain range in north-eastern Bavaria), directly on the Czech border. The porcelain tradition in the hotel and around it can be felt only in a few steps. 20 internationally famous artists and designers working for the public limited company Rosenthal (one of the biggest companies producing porcelain) undertook the inner architectonic design of the hotel rooms in the eighties.
