From the airport head towards the A1 southbound. Follow the A1 south to junction 62 which is signposted for Durham and Sunderland A690. Head on the A690 towards Sunderland. At the junction for the A19 head south. Take the exit signposted B1404 to Seaham off the A19. At the top of the sliproad turn left towards Seaham. Go straight over the traffic lights onto Lord Byrons Walk. Follow the road and go over the railway crossing.
