Our inn is situated in the heart of the Old Town of Schwerin. The house was built at the end of the 18th century just a few steps from the marketplace. It was already used as an inn in the 19th century. In this century, the most famous guest ever to stay in this house, which is classified as a historical monument, was Fritz Reuter, the well-known poet.

The building was restored and modernized in 1993 and 1994. Today, the inn offers six comfortable hotel rooms and a restaurant. All rooms are equipped with shower, WC, telephone, TV, radio, mini bar and desk. Hotel guests can use parking lots in the city center.

The comfortable lounge, open daily, is well-known for its cuisine. A small beer garden is open for our guests when the weather is fine. The central location of our hotel makes it an ideal place for a short holiday or for business travelers.

The places of interest of the city, such as castle, theatre, museum and cathedral but also institutions like the ministries and the Chamber of Industry and Commerce are all in walking distance to the inn.
