from 08:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. (Saturday - Sunday) Hotel an der Stadtmauer is located in the town of Schorndorf in Baden-Württemberg, 26 km east of Stuttgart. The city is positioned in a tributary valley of the river Rems, which borders the Schurwald forest in the South and the municipality of Berglen and the Welzheim Forest in the North. Each of the 32 hotel rooms has a distinct character and features a clear and modern however cosy design. The rooms resemble a haven of tranquility and offer a large bathroom, comfortable beds and satellite TV including foreign channels. Our ambitious chef prepares refined dishes of contemporary French cuisine from the freshest and best seasonal products. The meals are complemented by excellent wines, of course. There are theatres, museums and cultural events, all of which are worth seeing. The hotel is the perfect starting point for trips to the enchanting countryside around Schondorf and to Stuttgart, Germany’s 6th-largest city, which offers many culture and leisure facilities. |
Clean and quiet rooms
It is hard to make out where the Hotel entrance actually is as the reception is not on the ground floor.
Documentation in the room is insufficient. I was missing information like how to get connected to the Internet and about room service.
It is also not obvious to see where you can actually Park. Signs indicating where the Hotel is and where you can Park the car would have been appreciated.
Overall very poor for a four star hotel and I stayed in three star hotels which I enjoyed more.
