The “Esperidi Resort” is located in a residential area, a few yards away from the sea and only 1,5 km from the centre of Sorrento. It consists of new self-catering residences and apartments with either 1 or 2 bedrooms and a fully equipped kitchenette, air conditioning, cable television and safe. The complex is an ideal starting point for those interested in culture, since it is close to the main archaeological and historical sites of the Sorrento Peninsula and of the Amalfi Coast. The local rail system “Circumvesuviana” is only a 5 minutes walk away and connects Naples, Herculaneum and Pompei. A bus opposite the main entrance of the complex takes you to Sorrento and to the harbour where you can take a hydrofoil to Capri and Ischia. The staff were very helpful. The grounds were lovely. The room was a small cabin with a small porch. The pool was great. Not your typical Sorrento hotel.
Hotel location is not near the downtown section of Sorrento so eating out can be a walk.
