Saint Martin- surrounded by the Vauban fortifications- is the best place to stop. Your base a 17th century shipbuilders residence with windows overlooking the port. The mast of a fishing boat may perhaps disturb your views of the setting sun. But would that really bother you.

the original old stone fireplace are very warm and welcoming. Right in the heart of the hotel a small aromatic garden invites you to come and relax at any time of the day and enjoy the sweet fragrances of many different plants.
