The Gasthof Neue Post is located in Sölden, a famous Austrian holiday destination for skiing and wandering. The hotel is nestled within the beautiful mountain scenery in the back Ötztal valley and is set in an elevated position of 1365 m. The summer tourism in Sölden is mostly characterised by hiking and high alpine mountain climbing activities.

The rooms vary in size between 26 and 30 m² and come with shower, toilet, satellite TV, desk and balcony. Some rooms additionally feature bathtub and internet access. Non-smoking rooms are also available.

The Sölden ski area, which also comprises 2 glaciers, features 39 cable cars, 146 km long slopes, 3 cross-country ski runs, an illuminated toboggan run, an illuminated ice-skating area, a swimming pool, a tennis hall and numerous ski cottages.
