The location and staff were great. The owner was quite friendly and offered great customer service. The parking was only 3 euro a night! The best price we have ever paid for parking in Europe! The parking area is down from the hotel but seemed quite safe. No problems at all.

The staff was really great. The room was big, closet, shelves and loads of space to put thins. It was very quaint. The bathroom was much bigger, modenr and well equipped than expected. The bed was comfortable. We were offered a choice of several rooms. Had daughter and 2 children who stayed in a different room. The meals were really good. Price was great and just about a block walk to the center of town - definitely worth it. Would stay there again and recommend it. Didn't know what to expect, but pleasantly surprised.
The noises in the street at night from the open window were somewhat disturbing. No elevator, but the staff gladly took our bags up. Would not want if have difficulty with stairs to stay higher than first set of stairs. |

The Romantik Hotel Markusturm was very very nice and we thourghly enjoyed our stay. The staff was helpful and friendly and made this one of the best hotels we visited during our two weeks in Germany. The room was very spacious, well furnished and clean. The hotel fit in with the appearance and atmosphere of Rothenburg. We had diner in the restaurant and had a delicious meal. We would definately stay here again and highly recommend it.

Very nice and clean hotel. This is the best hotel in Rothenburg Ob Der Tauber as it is used in the cover of the local travel guides. I highly recommend this place!
