This 200-year-old villa in the heart of Rostock is always worth an overnight stay. The completely renovated house from the late Baroque period awaits you with spacious apartments and period furniture. Enjoy individually arranged accommodations in this cosy and elegant hotel.

The appearance of the hotel from outside was rather off-putting, but prospective visitors should not be deterred. Inside, the hotel was comfortable and quiet; and parking arrangements were satisfactory.

Personal atmosphere, nicely decorated room Steep stairs, no elevator. No person at the reception even in the early evening around 20:00. Key pick up only by entering a code number after calling the owner. If one does not have a phone or a low battery this might become a real problem.

sweet, friendliness of people , lady comes earlier than usual to make coffe and service , recommandation of good restaurant near by. very nice space room , bath , entry : super they dont speak good enough english or almost none , they is no information in english to go about rostock, tv channel had no french only one english bbc news station , too litlle

We were delighted with our stay at Hotel Altes Hafenhaus. The hotel is very tastefully appointed and the room very thoughtfully decorated. Very spacious and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was of superb quality, generous and meticulously presented. This standard was continually maintained through breakfast time.
