The completely renovated Altstadt-Hotel-Rheine is located in the historic Old Town of Rheine. The hotel has been renovated by its new proprietor Hugo Gaul and is set in the Tiefe Straße.

We offer 42 beds and 2 holiday flats with 2 to 5 beds. All rooms are en-suite and have a phone, mini bar, TV and internet connection.

The excellent location nearby the historic Falkenhof, with short distances to all sights of Rheine is surely the most outstanding advantage of our property.

The hotel doesn't provide shower gel and shampoo but only upon special request, the liquid soap is only at the sink(stuck in the wall) and nothing at the shower. Sometimes they prepare barbeque in the inner yard and the rooms with open windows towards that yard are filled with smoke and kerosen odour

Really extremely bad expierance with staff attitude, incompetent, rough and agressive I was suprise to get something like this in Germany

really central No tea making facilities. Only given one key for twin room, request for another one denied.Told to choose a set time for breakfast.No one in hotel could speak good english.

The shower gel and shampoo are not standard,from the personnel results they are part of so called "garden hotels" therefore they are not allowed to offer these to the guests, though they supplied them to me upon request

I really recommend this hotel. Really big doublebedrooms with nice furniture. Your car can be parked for the night for 4 Euro in the parkingbuilding nearby.
