 Would definitely recommend this hotel, well worth the money: friendly staff, very spacious and pretty rooms (beautiful design), breakfast was excellent, toilet was seperated from bathroom
 It was a little too hot in our room (in august), so we had to keep the windows open, but it was really noisy outside, maybe ask for a room at the backside |

Attractive public rooms. Close to all Alt Stadt, so convenience for tourists.
Rooms lack air conditioning and because there is a lot of external noise from traffic and youths late at night, windows had be kept closed making it very uncomfortable. |

Gute Lage zum Hbf, beeindruckende Fassade, Zimmereinrichtung recht neu (bis auf Fenster!)
Zimmer laut (nur Einfachverglasung), Frühstück mangelhaft (Brötchen zäh, Kaffee nix, Rührei kalt, benutztes Geschirr wird nicht abgeräumt), bei Frage nach Taxi wird man nicht auf den Taxistand 50m weiter hingewiesen, sondern soll ewig auf ein bestelltes Taxi warten |

Beautiful antique building with dining room in the original conditions
Poor breakfast arrangements, definitely substandard for a German hotel.
Also, the underground garage has no elevator, which is not advertised anywhere with the consequent risk of driving straight to parking and being left with the heavy task of hauling heavy suitcases upstairs. |

Good "strategic" position if you arrive by car: it is at the beginning of the pedestrian area and the hotel has a private parking (extra charge).
Private parking but without lift.
Staff is nice, but there are too few people at the reception (1 or 2) and no one else around! One would expect more from a 4 star hotel.
No room service.
Wire-less Internet in room: 10 Euro per hour (to be used within 24 hours).
Hotel is being refurnished, still the room was clean but old in the conception and details (few plugs, few lights, no shelves or cupboards in the bath room etc). |

An excellent quality hotel at a very reasonable price. Excellent location, friendly staff and secure parking - perfect.

We were pleasantly surprised that the hotel was doing refurbishments and our room was a lovely boutique style room.
As the grand ballroom was being used as for a big party with live band the noice level was very loud which was quite disturbing. |

Due to construction some services were a bit "experimental" (lobby was being refurbished); however, friendly staff was always there to help. No real problem here

| This was the second time I have stayed in this hotel. I would happily use it again provided that the price (which does seem to vary over a wide range)was at a similar level. |
