Very quiet location. Staff friendly/helpful but struggle with English. Helped that I speak some German.

Closest restaurant is ~1/2 mile away. Most restaurants 1 1/2 miles away in downtown area. Best method to get there was take the train (2 per hour) to main station then walk to downtown. Breakfast, although good, was not served until 8 AM making for a late start on the day's activities. No lift.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was excellent, and in a pleasant setting, with waltz music on in the background. The hotel is one block from the Park Sanssouci train stop and very easy to reach from Berlin. The setting is delightful, being on the edge of Park Sanssouci, and within easy walking distance of the center of Potsdam. Also, it is very close to the University of Potsdam. A minor criticism is that the internet service was a bit costly, and also a bit slow.
