Excellent Hotel! Staff is very friendly and the whole hotel is decorated in Pompeii Archeological theme. Air conditioner keeps you really cool.I'd recommend this hotel in a heart beat. Toiletries have Pompeii art works imprinted on them and make great gifts.
It is closest to the other Pompeii rail station, not the Sorrento line. It's about a 2 mile walk from the Sorrento Circumvesuviana line. About .25 mile from the other Circumvesuviana line. Good luck on figuring out which train to catch in the dark dungeon like area of the Naples train station. Ask a local. Watch out for thieves on the Circumvesuviana (mostly teenage gangs). Read Rick Steves description, so you'll know what to expect riding that train.The conductors don't check tickets so that probably explains the low lifes on that train. Don't get me wrong, there are other tourist carrying luggage on this train, just keep your money belt tucked beneath your clothes, and your luggage away from the doors.){kind=link}
