This is not Saxon Switzerland, Hessian Siberia or Goethe’s Italy but Thuringian cultural landscapes on the way between Berlin and Frankfurt am Main. The place where the routes meet is the middle. In the neighbourly surroundings you will find the towns of Weimar, Jena and Naumburg as well as castles true to the Minnelied (the tradition of lyric and song writing in Germany) and wine from the sunny wine hills of the rivers Ilm and Saale. Hotel an der Therme opened its doors in 1999 after an eventful past and has preserved undoubtedly its unique charm. Apart from the legendary Toskana Therme thermal baths with the Liquid Sound temple you will also find 2 complexes of buildings housing the hotel’s lodging and restaurant, as well as different doctors and therapists of the clinic centre, all placed in a park area. The 295 non-smoking rooms are modern and comfortably arranged with telephone, TV, carpet flouring, bathroom with shower, toilet and hair-dryer as well as French balcony partly overlooking the Toskana Therme. From September 2008 our second building will also provide a connection to the Toskana Therme and the sauna where you can walk with your bathrobes on. Thus, you will be able to use the Toskana Therme without restrictions during your stay at the hotel. Guests older than 17 years of age have to pay a visitors’ tax. |
