The Grand Hotel Francais is located at the Place de la Nation. It is housed in a historic building, which was completely refurbished in 2000. All sights and points of interest for both businessmen and leisure travellers are easily reachable within a 10-minute walk. The hotel is situated amidst the vibrant metropolis but is nevertheless an elegant oasis of lifestyle.

Our rooms are equipped with a mini-bar, a safe, a flat screen TV and hydromassage shower (in some rooms). It is possible to have a king-size bed for an extra charge.

The establishment offers charming atmosphere, contemporary comfort, attractive surroundings as well as all modern amenities you may expect. A bar is available in the reception area.

Our multilingual staff (English and German) is always at your disposal in order to offer you a comfortable stay.

Spend some unforgettable moments in the breakfast room and get to know the best of French tradition: pains au chocolat, brioches, croissants and of course the well-known baguette.

The Hotel was quite clean and the breakfast staff and maids were quite good. The rooms were very small - even the privileged rooms...it was almost claustophobic for two people.

Reasonable hotel - still going through some renovations in the stairwell. Rooms are small but comfortable. We are on the first floor and could hear the Metro running at night. Would be nice to have some shampoo in the showers. Only one slow lift. Site states: All sights and points of interest for both businessmen and leisure travellers are easily reachable within a 10-minute walk. - The Metro at "Nation" is within 10 minutes walk - not the sights - sometimes require 15-20 mintes on the Metro to reach chosen destinations. My overall impression of hotels is determined by whether or not I am happy to get back to the hotel late at night - generally I was happy to get back.
