| Paradiski is a regional ski pass which covers much of the Département Savoy including the well known resorts of La Plagne and Les Arcs. From December until late April wintersports‘ fans are guaranteed excellent skiing conditions on two glaciers and in more than 20 ski centres. More than 425 kilometers of prepared pistes offer runs to test all abilities in Paradiski and over 171 ski-lifts are ready to transport the skier back to the top of the runs. The Vanoise Express is the fastest cable car in the world and whisks the passengers upwards over a height difference of 1,800 meters in just four minutes. There are eight snowparks for snowboarders in the region and for those that prefer cross-country skiing there are 153 kilometers of well-prepared trails.
La Plagne is a pleasant ski resort with a wonderful view to Mont Blanc. The region Paradiski is also an attractive destination in summer as it is possible to ski the runs down the glacier of Bellecôte. Many guests like to try an exciting trip on a snowmobile and then relax in the heated open-air swimming pool. In December the world bobsleigh championships are held which draw a wide audience from far and near. The alpine village of Peisey-Vallandry has kept its old world charm with narrow alleys and the pretty baroque church. In Les Arcs are the famous winter homes Domizile L`Espace Killy and La Rosiere. The region of Paradiski is easily reached via the motorways A 41 and A 430.
