Ostrach is located in Upper Swabia, right between the Danube River and Lake of Constance. The attractive town is located along famous tourist routes such as the Upper Swabia Baroque Route, the Hohenzollern Route and the Swabian Poet Route. We provide individually appointed rooms with shower, toilet, phone and TV. Large double beds and comfortable single beds ensure a good sleep. All our rooms are conveniently accessible by a lift. Enjoy the pleasant atmosphere of our restaurant where our chef and our friendly and attentive staff treat you with excellent cuisine, selected regional and international wines, fresh draught beer and alcohol free beverages. This hotel was a real find. The owner Joseph Ermler and his wife have thought of everything to provide for their guests. Nothing was too much trouble for them. They offerred detailed help with tourist information went out of their way to help with various small requests. The food is excellent and local. The hotel uses local produce. The breakfasts were large. We were delighted with our stay and the hospitality we received. Ostrach itself is small and there is little to see or do in the immediate area but this should not put people off because it is an excellent centre for the area. We went to Weingarten and Ravensburg (east) and Sigmaringen and Uberlingen (West and South) on separate days. We would certainly go again - if only for the food!
