Oldenburg used to be a residence city and capital of the county. Today it accommodates a university and is the fourth biggest city as well as a key city in Saxony after Hanover, Braunschweig and Osnabrück. The 4 single and 17 double rooms are comfortably equipped and come with a shower, toilet, hair-dryer, sat ellite TV, telephone, Internet access and a desk. We will be glad to reserve a non-smoking room for you as well. Enjoy our copious breakfast buffet giving you a healthy start to a nice day. In our restaurant we will spoil you with regional delicacies. Visit the city theatre of Oldenburg, the numerous museums or the castle with a State Museum. Staff were freindly, the room was clean and quiet, the pressure in the shower was adequate and the supplied fan was a nice touch in what would have been an otherwise stuffy room, as one could only open the bathroom window and not the one in the room.
Breakfast could have been a little better, mybe more variaty, the fruit on offer was old and waxy (apples). TV's in the room are tiny, didn't even bother to turn mine on.
