The two English-language channels I found on the television (Channels 16 and 20, I believe; BBC world and CNBC) had a signal interruption precisely every 15 seconds. The other channels didn't seem to be affected. |

This relatively new hotel does what it has to do. It's easy to reach, clean, friendly staff, and has good isolation against outside noise (Keep windows closed) together with good air-conditioning. Great shower as well. And very nice towels, thick and soft. Beds and pillows are great too. They took our little dog (for 10 euro, not really positiv, but also not a problem). Nice modern ambience inside. TV with burning wood video. 5 minutes walk to train station and innercity.

I don't like to pay for wireless internet. Hotels (in general) should stop this habit. Rooms could be one meter bigger, but that's not really a complaint, more a wish. The enviroment of the hotel is not so nice, so it's a little rough walk to the hotel with luggage (we came by train). Better take a taxi from and to the train station.
(Cost: around 5 euro) |

The tables and chairs in the breakfast room are very small and inappropriate for breakfast. |

Modern, clean, new, good price.

All rooms are identical, no 3 or 4 bed rooms. |

Perfect for a short city trip. No unnecessary frills, efficient organisation, clean and modern. Fortunately few kids and pensioners.

Breakfast room way too small during "rush hour". No privacy at all during breakfast. |

Good value for the price. Very good breakfast. Very helpful desk staff. Clean and neat. Very close to the RR station.

Too modern in its design. Not very comfortable. Key card needed to make all electrical items work - this was unwieldy. Big space in shower door did not adequately keep water in the shower. |

Very convenient for the main station. Free internet in hotel lobby (though a charge is made for internet in the room). Staff friendly and helpful.

The area is not particularly exciting, but it's only a few minutes' walk to the old town. |

Clean, attractive/modern, low prices, free wifi in lobby, low cost parking in garage, reasonable price for breakfast. Walking distance to Hbf and old city.

Very small rooms - difficult even for a couple, both with suitcases, to be comfortable. A couple could ask for a single room, as the bed is large enough for two, and allows you a tiny bit more floor space. But either way, these are rooms for one person. No in-room telephone, so you cannot call another guest room or reception. Must pay for wifi in room. IMPORTANT: ask for a room in the front; in this hotel, rooms in the back face the train tracks and you will hear trains all night long; we could not close window against the noise, as the air conditioning was ineffective. |

A kettle and tea-making faacilities are necessary to make the hotel user friendly. |

An excellent, value for money hotel with high levels of comfort and cleanliness. All of our group (4) were impressed.

Good value for money.

Staff seems to be under pressure, even if there are only three different parties in the lobby to be served. They don't acknowledge you arriving at the counter, you simply wait until it is your turn. |

This is a great hotel and in a perfect position for access to the town centre. The rooms were very clean with a great modern decor. Would highly recomend to friends and family, and will be looking out for a Motel One on future trips.

nice modern design, sufficient inexpensive parking space, free internet access in lobby, central location

location directly adjacent to railway tracks creates constant rumble despite good sound-proofing, rooms extremely small, no free internet in room, understaffed and rather long waiting at reception desk for check-in |

Location, cleanliness

rooms have absolutely nothing to deposit clothes, suitcases, etc.
Staff was not very helpful and a bit arrogant. Did not pass memo to other travelers. Was then ignorant and offensive when asked about this. |

I priced hotels in Nurnberg and selected this one because it was new and seemed to be quite nice for the price. Everything seemed expensive in Nurnberg, so this was why I selected it. I would compare this hotel to a budget hotel in the US - one with no frills.

It is set right on the train tracks and you have to walk away from the train station down a side street to get to it. The room is very small and the two beds are pushed together. There were no washcloths or hand towels and no bar of soap in the bathroom, but the room and bathroom were clean and modern. Since we only slept there, it was not a big deal, but I would not book the room if you plan to spend time in your hotel room during the day. We were first assigned a room that was directly against the train tracks out the window, as if you could just step out your window onto the tracks. I asked to be moved to the other side and they graciously moved us and it was fine with a view of the street. The breakfast was kind of like a Hampton Inn-type breakfast. |

We thought the stay at the Motel One was very enjoyable. The rooms were clean and quiet, staff were friendly and helpful, there is a nice bar where you can use internet free and it is very close to the station and the old town. I would recommend this hotel.
