Welcome to RAMADA Hotel Neustadt/Weinstraße, situated in the town of Neustadt an der Weinstraße, which is one of the most beautiful towns in the Palatinate region. Romantic wine-growing villages and the vibrant Old Town are worth a visit and are the perfect setting to spend some relaxing hours. This centrally positioned hotel has 123 comfortably equipped guest rooms, fully air-conditioned conference rooms and a fitness area, thus providing a sophisticated and pleasant atmosphere for discerning guests. The southern mentality and joyful lifestyle of the locals are reflected at the hotel. Indulge in regional and international specialties served on the garden terrace, in the conservatory, at the restaurant or in the bistro. The town of Neustadt as well as its surroundings offer numerous leisure options, wine tastings and wine festivals. Central location, easy to get to
Having stayed in Ramada's before this was the first time we felt we didn't get value for money. The hotel price was reasonable standard, so far so good. Breakfast was extra (as per booking). However at €14.00 each it was v poor value for what was only an average breakfast by German standards. On the 1st day the room wasn't cleaned, they promised it would be the following day, however we had to insist when we found it still uncleaned in the late afternoon.
Finally for a hotel of this size/chain we would expect a better offering for WLAN, the service offerred (T-Mobile) is difficult to use with a small device (such as an iPhone).
The hotel suited its purpose in being central but its the 1st time we've stayed in Germany and felt we were overcharged.
