Please note that our hotel will be closed from December 21st till December 27th, 2009 (both incl.). Hotel St. Jordi is located in Montbrió del Camp (province of Tarragona), a Mediterranean thermal village with nice landscapes. Montbrió is not only a place designed for well-being, it is also famous for its products of the area such as olive oil, hazelnuts and wines. The hotel is an inviting and quiet place with a personal and attentive service. The bedrooms are decorated in order to ensure our guests the best relaxation. All rooms provide bathroom, telephone, TV and safe. A car park is also available. Hotel St. Jordi has a perfect transport link, only 7 km away from Cambrils and Salou and it is located in the district of Baix Camp, an ideal starting point for excursions along the Costa Daurada or to the inland: to Reus, a modern city with department stores, to medieval castles, churches, hermitages, Universal's Port Aventura, etc. |
This is a pleasant and comfortable hotel with friendly staff and we shall certainly use it next time we are in the area. The ViaMichelin information did not sufficiently describe the quality and attractiveness of the hotel and did not do it justice.The (erroneous) impression of two similar hotels should be ignored.The accommodation is very pleasant, clean, comfortable and quiet despite a prominent town centre position. We strongly recommend this hotel.
Although your staff were very helpful in assisting us to choose a restaurant for our evening meal (and accurate; their recommendation was superb!), it was generally difficult to identify, locate and assess eating establishments in the town from the exterior. Everything is very hidden away. It is possible that a map and list of establishments giving their type would help visitors.
We were not advised that afternoon refreshments were available on the ground floor of the hotel.
