Business hours of reception: from 07:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. The family-run Hotel & Restaurant Bärenkrug was designed in modern country style and invites you to enjoy your stay and relax. The Bärenkrug can look back on a long tradition and has been family-run since 1919. The 4th generation of owners is now running the property. The inn itself dates back to the 17th century and is thus the oldest country inn between Hamburg and Kiel. Our rooms are furnished in country house style and have an individual, comfortable design. They are spacious and provide shower and toilet, hair-dryer, phone, internet access, TV, clock radio and a desk. Some rooms have an open fireplace, a terrace and a tub. There is a saying here in our region “Food and beverages are important for the well-being of body and soul”. True to this motto, our kitchen offers you a large variety of delicacies ranging from rustic dishes to gourmet specialties. Our hotel is at your disposal for celebrations of all kinds: a cosy evening by the fireplace with your partner, a dinner with your family or your friends or a business lunch. We provide culinary treats for every occasion in a variety of inviting rooms in a country house atmosphere. |
All aspects of the Hotel was excellent, the position of the Hotel was ideal for our requirements.
Although my wife speaks German no assistance in choosing our Meal was offered and her understanding of the the menu was very difficult - no assistance was offered.
