The Sonneberg landmark was badly destroyed during storms in 1639 and was not reconstructed until the 19th century, when the renowned architect K.A. von Heideloff designed the plans for its comeback. We have a total of 15 guest rooms. Our highlight is the Tower Suite, which covers 3 floors in the beautifully restored tower. The views from the tower are particularly remarkable and unforgettable. All guest rooms feature comfortable furnishings, including en-suite facilities, telephone and satellite TV (extra beds are available). Guests can enjoy culinary delights in either one of our 2 lounges, each seating 40 people, or in our magnificently restored Knight's Hall, which can seat up to 170 guests at any time. The Knight’s Hall plays host to various events and is also the setting for our traditional medieval banquet. |
