Polite, friendly staff. As a single, female traveller I sometimes feel that it's difficult to get staff attention, that they are somehow less interested in me than couples groups. No such problems here - I enjoyed my stay greatly.
Mainly details: I would have really liked tea/coffee making facilities in my room.
My radiator didn't work properly (only the top 10cm warmed up). I commentend on this but nothing was done, leaving the room slightly chilly in the early evening. The hairdryer was 'tempramental', needing time to cool down before it would restart once I'd been using it for a while. The clocks changed to summer time this weekend. As a foreigner, clearly with little English, it would have been nice if someone had told me on Saturday night to change my watch, clocks etc. It's a long list, but as I say, all details rather than big things.
