Kurhotel Auerhahn am Rennsteig offers you all-year-round comfor. Relax in a wonderful location in the immediate vicinity of the Rennsteig hiking trail. We are a family-run establishment offering a cosy atmosphere and original Thuringian cuisine. Our Auerhahn restaurant will pamper you with specialities from the Thuringian Forest.

In winter we invite you to go skiing and to visit our atmospheric Baudenabend evenings with music and dancing in our Rennsteigkeller cellar bar or in the Masserberger event hall Musikanten-Scheune (Masserberg musician’s barn). You can also book skiing lessons at the hotel.

The restaurant is open from noon to 09:00 p.m.

In spring and autumn our establishment is an ideal starting point for hiking and bicycle tours as well as the new trend of Nordic walking with professional guidance. In summer you can benefit from our health facilities and forget your everyday stress in Masserberg’s bath house.
