Coming from Vienna 102 km, first taking the A23 urban motorway, then the Sued-Autobahn (A2) as far as the Knoten Guntramsdorf exit, followed by the Suedost-Autobahn (A3) to Knoten Mattersburg/Eisenstadt; follow the S31 towards Oberpullendorf as far as Oberpullendorf Sued, making a left at the roundabout and driving downhill towards Oberpullendorf, taking a right at the second roundabout and continuing via Unterpullendorf, Frankenau and Strebersdorf to Lutzmannsburg (ca. 1 1/2 hour drive) Coming from Eisenstadt 52 km, head south on the S 31 and take the Oberpullendorf Sued exit, making a left at the roundabout and driving downhill towards Oberpullendorf, taking a right at the second roundabout and continuing via Unterpullendorf, Frankenau and Strebersdorf to Lutzmannsburg. Coming from Graz 140 km, take the Sued-Autobahn (A2) towards Vienna, exiting at Lafnitztal/Oberwart; at the roundabout, take the B50 (Burgenland Bundesstrasse) heading north and continuing via Oberwart to the 'Lockenhaus' turn-off, then past famous Burg Lockenhaus (castle) on the B61 via Hammer/Teich and Liebing towards Rattersdorf (a border town across from Koeszeg); shortly before the border and after you have driven through town, take the B61 left towards 'Eisenstadt' as far as Mannersdorf (please be sure to obey the 50 km/h speed limit!); after leaving the town and crossing the bridge, take a right towards Lutzmannsburg (1 hour 45 minute-drive) Coming by train: Direct rail connection to Lutzmannsburg. We recommend taking the train from the 'Suedbahnhof' in Vienna (platforms 11-19) to Deutschkreutz. The trip takes approximately 90 minutes. A taxi service to the hotel can be organized. Coming by plane: If you arriving at Viennas Schwechat Airport, Graz Thalerhof or in Bratislava, we would be pleased to make arrangements for your transfer to our hotel.
