Hotel Ruhekrug is located in the suburbs of the Viking city of Schleswig, directly at the protected area Himmelsauge. The forest nearby is perfect for hiking or extensive cycling tours. The city centre is about 4 km away and the A7 motoway is 3 km from the hotel. We offer modern single, double and shared rooms. All rooms are appointed with shower, toilet, TV and telephone. We also provide a hall and rustic club rooms for up to 200 people, a cosy bar, winter garden and in summer a large restaurant in the garden with wonderful views of the landscape. The city centre of Schleswig is reachable within a few minutes by car. It offers cultural sights like the cathedral, the Schloss Gottorf museum, the historic Holm fisher's quarter, the Viking museum Hedeby and a lot more. Our guests can reach Denmark within 30 minutes by car as well as the coast of the Baltic or the North Sea and cities like Flensburg, Husum, Kappeln or Kiel. |
We were just passing through, got a very positive impression. We went back several months later for one night stand with 6 other friends, just relaxing, eating and drinking good. our friends were very comfortable with the visit at Ruhekrug. We are coming back!!
It was very dunkle in the room. I could use a little more electrical light. And the Tv did not work.
