Clean 1. Unfortunately, my bed was under a stair. (room 209). This prevents me from sitting up in the bed to watch television. 2. I thought smoking was not allowed in the bar but unfortunately people were smoking in the bar when I was eating. Is there a special rule in Germany?

The room and hotel were clean, as well as the outside area in front and the in the parking garage. Picture of room is for one with a full / double bed. Mine had only a twin size bed. The room was very small compared to the picture, with the roof line cutting into the small room as well.
