The Hotel Universo enjoys a central location between the theatre and the beautiful „Palazzo Ducale“. It is one of Lucca's historical sights built in the 19 th century.

The town is surrounded by the well-preserved city wall, which was built during the 16th century and on which you can talk a walk. Lucca has preserved the atmosphere of the past with its medievalurban architecture, narrow alleys, small streets where stone-towers rise and where suddenly you will discover small squares and Roman churches.

From the hotel rooms you will either have a view to the cathedral or to the tree lined “Piazza Napoleone” or even to the theatre on the opposite side of the street which was built during the 18th century.
