Very clean and within walking distance to the city centre. Rooms were bright and attractive.
One room at front of hotel was a bit noisy as it was close to the road. Car parking was secure but was a bit too far away. |

A terrific place to stay when visiting Lubeck, only 300 metres from gthe Holstentor, being the main entry pointg ot the old city, and adjacent to departure points for the (excellent) canal and harbour cruises operated by Quant Line. The hotel is right opposite the bus and rail stations, but do not fear, however, for the rooms mostly face to the rear of the hotel and are extremely quiet. The staff could not be more helpful and the owners are very much 'hands-on'. So much nicer than staying at a chain hotel and very good value.
I initially had difficulty connecting to the Wi-LAN internet, which is free of charge, but the problem was resolved promptly, so this is not really a grumble. |

Easily the cleanest hotel that we have encountered in Europe. Excellent breakfast (coffee was better than could be found on the walking street in Lubeck). East walk to train station and to all points of interest in Lubeck. Very helpful and friendly staff.

Very conveniently situated near the main railway station. Close to local public transport. Easy walking distance to the river and the town centre.
