| The Royal Horseguards Hotel has just re-launched after a �18m refurbishment which mixes 21st century decor with Victorian style. Built in 1884 in the style of a French Chateau, this Grade one listed five star hotel, over looks the River Thames and the famous London-eye. It is within walking distance to Embankment, Charing Cross and Waterloo tube and main line train stations. New in-room enhancements in all 280 guestrooms include i-pod docking stations, complimentary Wi-Fi access, power showers, surround sound, plasma TVs in both the guestrooms and bathrooms, cozy bathrobes and slippers, Egyptian cotton linen and a selection of Elemis toiletries. Also new to the hotel is the Guoman Executive Lounge which allows prominent guests to work or relax witin a professional environment. Next door and part of the hotel, One Whitehall Place, listed as a building of architectural interest, accommodates up to 340 guests for a reception and 240 theatre style. |
