The location is perfect. The hotel rooms are newly refurbished. It is clean and pleasant in the hotel.

Initially we were given a room on the ground floor situated in front of the lift. The room was too small. The noise from people coming in and out of the lift was difficult to bear and we asked to be moved to a different room which was much better. |

nice big bathroom

I had booked a Club single room, but the promised slippers, the refill of the fruits etc weren't there. |

LIFE IN A BROOM CUPBOARD
The room was the smallest I have ever stayed in and I've been in hotels all over the world on business
We couldn't open the door to the room and have the bathroom door open at the same time - we struggled to physically get the suitcases into the room and when we were actually in the room my wife had to stand in the bathroom while I got changed and she had to do the same as there was no space.
a 3/4 bed NOT a double
- Ridiculous for a 4 star hotel
The "wardrobe" within our "wardrobe" had room for about 3 shirts and we had to put our closed suitcases in the shower cubicle so that we could move around the room
When I complained I was greeted with total silence! The guy behind reception just stared and glared at me!
When I asked for another room he said there were none - yet at breakfast the next day only a third of the tables were laid for guests!
They gave us after( I complained) a complimentary breakfast - should have been £15.00 each - It was greasy and totally inedible - Dry baked beans - Instant coffee in a 4 star hotel?!! Diluted juices?
All disgraceful - Absolutely terrible place and service - I never write anything for these surveys but on this one was prompted to - as it totally spoiled our time in London - |

Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Size of the room was very small. Air conditioning was not working. Window and some of the facilities at the bathroom were broken. |

Nice and competent staff.
Our twinbed room was very well furnished and spacious.
Largest room on the floor and in very good condition.

Temperature in corridor and room much too warm! |

I was upgraded to a single junior executive suite. For the price (71 GBP) I wasn't expecting too much. I was pleasantly surprised. The room appeared to have been recently renovated. It was very clean, well equipped with free internet access, iron and ironing board, large flat screen TV, complimentary water etc. Located in a quiet area. I was not facing the street so that was a plus for me. The hotel is less then three blocks from Paddington Train Station and easily found from there. Close to underground station.
Overall rating: I would give it a nine out of ten and would for sure stay there again.

The only thing that I could list as a negative would be the small size of the room. For one night it was fine but if you were staying for several nights it could be an issue. |

Hotel is currently being refurbished: rooms are nice and clean, rest of the place is still messy.
