The Pensão Residencial Roma is centrally located in Lisbon, near the Praça do Marqués de Pombal, the main shopping avenue Avenida da Liberdade and the historical railway station Estação do Rossio.

Excellent location and value for money with friendly staff (except breakfast). Very clean. Decorated a while ago but to a good standard. Rooms quite small but not bad for the price. Only complaint: poor breakfast (food and staff) but at least it only added a few euros to the price. Better to go out - cafe just underneath the hotel for instance. Occasional noise from the bar but would probably only affect the room I had. Would still recommend the place for location and value.

Very central. Always somebody present at reception. Check-in and check-out efficient. Breakfast was only 2.50 if not part of room. It is suitable for poor students. You can get better breakfast immediately outside in cafes. The room was very, very small.

The location is excellent for a downtown stay. The staff was curteous and helpfull and rooms were clean. No frills rooms with good bathrooms. The value to price ratio is high. Would stay there again and will look for it on my next trip there. The room pictures on the web site looked better than my room, but the price was right.
