Villa Diana
is a small hotel which was built in 1950 by Edwin Hunziker, a Swiss painter who
reconstructed an old house and designed it as a hotel. The establishment stands
within a large garden with olive trees and citruses.
Today the
hotel belongs to the family of the artist, who continue accommodating guests
with his warm hospitality. The garden and the large terraces offer incredibly
beautiful views of the sea, the town of Lipari
and the castle. The salon and some of the rooms are equipped with ancient
furniture.
The
comfortable rooms have a terrace looking onto the garden. The rooms have
bathroom with shower.
The hotel
is 400 m away from the main road. The sea and the harbour are about 1 km away.
Guests may profit from our parking facilities, boccia lane and tennis courts.
The hotel is open from April to October. |
